About Steve Miller Band
Steve Miller formed the Steve Miller Band in 1968 and, with the band's psychedelic blues-style rock recorded some hit singles that remain successful to this day, the first of them being The Joker in 1973, with the popular trivia reference made-up word pompatus. The Steve Miller Band has left its their imprint not only on blues-rock but on the entire American culture with the song and the peculiar word.
